Here is the last edition of the school newspaper produced under my leadership and organization. I've had great fun in being the Editor-In-Cheif and I hope Joe, Tyler, and Matt keep it alive next year. I'm peacin' out. <3 Ashley DeNardo

Why We Do This
Mrs. Sears came to me the other day and gave me a copy of the picture below. She described a scenario where a usually rowdy classroom was found behaving and even READING! She is a reading teacher and has a hard time getting this to happen in the first place. Not only were the kids reading, they were discussing ideas and themes found in the articles contained in our beloved newspaper.
Even though you are saying "thank you" to us, I would like to take this time to thank you, Mrs. Sears, for reminding me what the true importance of this club is. It's not just for me to gain experience as an Editor and writer. It isn't just to have something to show for Williamson. It is to bring people together, make them aware, and to arouse discussion.
Anyone can be involved. You just have to find the right activity. The club isn't only made up of an advisor, an editor, and writers. The audience is just as important. Thank you for showing me that we have an audience and making us all feel appreciated!
